Our last book, The Mysterious Flame of Queen Loana (discussed here; reviewed here), by Umberto Eco, was a bit of a monster; I'm hoping we can decide on a slightly shorter, simpler text next (though not necessarily "easier," if you get my drift). I've got some thoughts, but would love to hear your ideas first.
Please, sound off below.

I have been wanting to read "The Hand That First Held Mine." And since Mother's Day is coming up, it could be a good pick! :-)
ReplyDeleteCarson, I wasn't familiar with your mentioned title, so I looked it up. Funny: your book deals with memory and faulty memory, which was also the primary premise for the book we just read! Go figure.
ReplyDelete"Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea"? I'm up for something fun-ish, too.
ReplyDeleteI have no place suggesting things I have no time to participate in, but Brave New World is short. You could even add Brave New World Revisited. They're often available as a pair.
