Here is a list of the last 103 words Google has asked me to enter to verify that I am human, before permitting my comment to be submitted to a blog.  Despite being computer generated, there's a spectacular appearance of humanity in many of these "words."  I would love to know--and have explained to me--the algorithm Google uses to generate these.

  2. A couple big possibilities here:

One, make some faux dictionary for a huge list of these words, using, where available, legit etymological application--roots, prefixes, etcetera. It would actually be a pretty good exercise.

Two, just jam all the words together and make the longest word in the English language!

  3. Hahaha

I just got "under" so occasionally you get a real word.

  4. Yeah -- and there's "acid" up there and, though this might be a stretch, there's also "micing." If mousing is a thing cats and certain dogs do, why not micing?

  6. A couple months, I guess. It's become a habit now....
