Yay! Another trip into the delicious mind of my dear friend, Jane Eyre.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to it. Although I doubt I'll be able to figure out some of the little tricks in this one like I did with "East of Eden" since it's only my first time through. Should be fun, though!
ReplyDeleteI think what I'm most looking forward to is that I'm not the expert. I've never read it, yet I know other--Carson--has. This will be great!
ReplyDeletehooray! can't wait to dig in. i have my book and standing at the ready.
ReplyDeleteit seemed "east of eden" was about a chapter a day. think we could slow it down for "jane eyre?"
Angie and I are reading it together. I'm hoping for a chapter a day, but that sort of depends on the length of the chapters and how in depth I need/can get with the questions.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to start reading today for questions, and then reread tonight with Angie. We'll see what happens!
What kind of pace did you have in mind? Other readers--thoughts?
ReplyDeletei was thinking a new chapter every couple of days or so. i'm not a fast reader and no mater how good the story is at the end of my day i can only make it through a few pages before falling asleep.
ReplyDeletebut that's me. i can always play catchup--just means my comments/questions/the like will be delayed. :-)
I think what will happen is I'll do a chapter a day except for Wednesdays and Sundays, when I do my other weekly entries. Don't expect a new chapter today then, as I've got to do the Wednesday's for Kids. I hope this helps; I'm really excited about this book already.
